"My passion for baking chocolate brownies was born shortly after graduating college, when I began working as a financial analyst. I soon realized my days would be buried in spreadsheets and numbers, with no outlet for my creative energy.

Inspired by a program on the Food Network, I tried baking as a way to scratch my creative itch. I spent many weekends perfecting old recipes and creating new ones. Come Monday mornings, much to my coworker’s delight, I would bring the results of a weekend's worth of baking.

The feedback was more than I ever could have expected. Word spread at work and soon, people from every department and floor would come by my desk hoping to get a taste of whatever I had brought in that week. I noticed the chocolate brownies, in particular created the most buzz. The drive to bake a better brownie that is rich and moist was born." These brownies are so praised that Obama had to pay a visit in October 2008 during his campaign.
